"These Shoes Are Made for Walking"

Sunday, March 26th was an exciting day for Jayden. It was the day we went to Stride Rite to buy her first pair of "walking shoes"! She was so good letting the salesgirl size her foot...a whopping size 4!! We picked out a simple white shoe with little flowers on the ankle. (After all, she is a girl you know!)Daddy walked around the store a bit so that Jayden could "test out" her new shoes. Of course we have the entire moment on video...mommy wouldn't have it any other way.

GUESS WHO'S WALKING??!!!!

Yup, you guessed it! For a few days now Jayden has been taking the plunge by quick-stepping it then lunging forward at me or daddy and even Miss Lori (her sitter). However, Jayden took her first real walk last night in the kitchen! She carefully let go of the chair, balanced herself then took 4 steps towards me before she fell on her butt!! It was so exciting (and scary at the same time)! This weekend we'll get some pics of it and post them so all can see.
