Jayden's First Yard Sale--A Huge Success!

Saturday, May 20th...Jamesburg...Yard Sale!! That's right, Jayden partook in her first yard sale! It was held at Noni's house (great-grandma) in Jamesburg. It was
a huge success thanks to Jayden! She helped in advertising...she demonstrated the use of many items. Pops joined in and poised as
a clothing hanger...the wind kept blowing over the one we had!
Although, this is one baby that wasn't for sale! heehee...

MOTHER'S DAY 2006

Mother's Day.... a day cherished by so many
mother's all around the world! I'm no different! This is my little Ladybug, Jayden Bree.
The day began with daddy getting up for Jayden's morning bottle while mommy slept in late. Somewhere around 9am mommy was awoken to Jayden's smiling face. A beautiful start to a wonderful day. After jading morning nap, we dressed her and off we were to Aunt Chrisann's house for breakfast before visiting Nanny at the mausoleum. Mommy's nephew, Nicholas (2yrs) and Jayden both held the string of a balloon and then sent it up to Nanny. This is a tradition now. It was then time to say "Goodbye" and head to Grandma's & Grandpa's house.
At Grandma's house we had another 'photo shoot'. This time Jayden was dressed in grandma's dress from when she was 1yr old!! It fit Jayden beautifully...just take a look!

Can You Believe It's Been One Year?

That's right...on April 29th Jayden turned 1! Boy did we celebrate! First, on her actual birthday grandma and grandpa came over for a visit. Watching her open presents was quite comical, as always. She loved playing with the paper better than the gifts! Grandma took Jayden out for a walk in the stroller. She was so pooped by the time they came back that grandma said she was "practically falling asleep sitting up"! Sleep is just what Jayden did...she napped for almost 2 1/2 hours! Once Jayden woke up, we all went to dinner to also celebrate daddy's birthday (which was May 2nd).

Sunday, the 30th, we celebrated with a big party for Jayden. Since so many people were coming, we decided to rent the hall at the American Legion and had it catered. A "Ladybug" themed party is what Jayden had! She even had tiny ladybugs on her dress. Jayden truly enjoyed herself...she stayed awake for the entire party!!

Our precious little girl is growing up to quickly. Where did the year go! It's been a wild year so far! So many wonderful things have happened this year that it makes us excited to see what the following years have in store for Jayden! We've made sure that we documented her progress so that in years to come Jayden can read for herself what a proud, intelligent, adventurous, independent, full of spirit little girl she was!!
