Daisy Troup

Jayden's Daisy Troup had an exciting February! On Superbowl Sunday, the girls had a cookie booth set up in front of the Foodtown. Since there was a liquor store next to Foodtown, the girls were able to use their charm and convince many that cookies and beer go great together!! LOL... They sold so many boxes of cookies that the girls raised enough money for future activities!

The Daisy's Pinning ceremony was held on February 17th. Jayden recited the Girl Scout Pledge with her troup. She was so proud of herself...as were Mommy & Daddy of their babygirl.




The very next day was Jayden's elementary school Daddy/Daughter Dance. Jayden picked out a silver party dress with sparkles and sweater. The hair garland she wore was one Jayden made all by herself! Perhaps one day she will take over Mommy's Lady Jewel's Hair Garlands business! There was dancing, games, good friends and good food.

Snow, Snow and Even More Snow

January brought in just as much snow as the blizzard we had in December! There's no where to put all the fluffy white stuff...all the Christmas trees (that we all put out for the environmental pick up) are covered up again!! By this rate, we won't see them again until March!! Jayden could almost go sledding in front of the house on the mound of snow that the plow made! At any rate...Jayden loves to play in it! Mommy doesn't want to drive in it anymore. Daddy is tired of shoveling it! Lol...guess that's what winter is all about.
