Red Mountain Spa

It was an adventure for Mommy and her best friend Gianine! A long weekend to Red Mountain Spa in St. George, Utah March 25-28th. It had been 10 years in the making...literally...Mommy and Gianine had talked about visiting the Spa during the last y 10 years and now they were finally going in celebration of their birthdays!

It was a weekend of pampering with massages, facials, body wraps, pedicures and manicures. There was great healthy and delicious food included and guided hikes into the mountains. This could be heaven.

Play Date with a School Friend

It was an exciting day for Jayden...she had a playdate with her kindergarten classmate Alexandra! Jayden was so excited that Alexandra came over to play with her. They played dress up and put on a show for us!

A Trip to Shawnee Village

It was a mini-vacation for Mommy, Daddy and Jayden the weekend of March 5th. We all packed up on Friday and it was off to Shawnee Village in the Pocono Mountains. We stayed in a cute ski-condo village with a real wood burning stove. There wasn't any snow to go tubing because it rained the entire weekend. That didn't stop us from finding things to do! We took a trip to Callies Pretzel factory and Callies Candy Factory!!

We watched them making pretzels! It was really interesting how they add all the toppings. Did you know they make salt & vinegar pop corn?! That's right, I said salt & vinegar pop corn!

Girls Sleep Over

One day Jayden said to Mommy, "Mommy, I really want to have a sleep over with my bestest girls". Mommy thought long and hard...could she handle four 5 year olds...well, you only live once!

Jayden wrote out invitations to her 3 best girl friends. Jayden had her wish for a girl's sleep over on February 25, 2011! Kaitlyn, Gracie and Faith were all in attendance. The festivities started at 6pm sharp! After the girls got acquainted with all the different toys in Jayden's play room, we had pizza for dinner. Then the fun started...we watched Shreck and had popcorn...we made pictures with paint, crayons and stickers...painted our nails...played dress up...by 11pm everyone was so exhausted and fell asleep in their sleeping bags!




To mommy's surprise, everyone slept to 7am!! After breakfast of pancakes and eggs everyone went home...Mommy was exhausted!
