What is bigger than a bus, as colorful as a painter's pallet, yet lighter than air?

(Jayden's biggest job is working the crown line.)

That's easy...a hot-air balloon...but not any hot-air balloon...one that is named 'Heaven'.

(This is Bill, he's the pilot.)

Bill Costin came down from Connecticut once more. He is the owner of 'Sky Endeavors' and pilot of 'Heaven'. The weather was beautiful but the winds picked up a bit to much for safety...the first night was a 'no fly' due to wind. Saturday morning and evening was a different story though...great weather and the winds cooperated! Just about every member of the crew got to fly this year...including Jayden!

This year was extra special. Bill's daughter, Chantel, brought with her a camera crew to film the entire experience. Many of us were interviewed for a documentary on Bill!

Jayden's Second Hiking Experience

Mommy loves to go hiking, so naturally you would expect Jayden to want to do the same. One day Jayden asked Mommy if she could take her hiking again. July 2nd Mommy and Jayden went hiking at Cheesequake Park in Old Bridge! It was a lot of fun...we hiked the Red Trail this time.

Mommy packed apples, peanut butter, water and granola bars.

End of Year Party at School

Jayden's end of the year party at school was held on June 23rd. Mommy came to school too because she is one of the class mother's. The kids played lots of relay race games, egg toss games, water balloon toss and free time.

There were snacks including water mellow and ice pops!

Afterwards, Mrs. Magner read the students a story. The students gave Mrs. Magner a gift certificate and thanked her for being such a great teacher this year!

Dance Rehersal & Recital 2011

Jayden's annual dance recital was held on June 5th this year at State Theatre in New Brunswick. They performed 9th in the program which ment it was a long wait til the end of the show...the girls tapped to 'Ain't we got fun'...in a purple and silver costume. All the girls did a great job!

Of course the dance rehearsal was held prior to the recital. This year it was on June 2nd. This time, Mom-Mom and Dadoo came to the rehearsal and took lots of pictures.

The ABCs of Kindergarten

Jayden's end of year Kindergarten show was on May 20th. Mommy took off from work and Daddy went to work late just so they could see their little Baby Girl perform in her school play.

Jayden was the letter "H" and had a speaking part! We were so proud of her...when it was her turn, she even adjusted the microphone to her height! She was the only student to do so...her teacher, Mrs. Magner, wasn't surprised. She said, "Some day, she will be famous, I just know it".

Liberty Science Center

While Mommy and Daddy were away during May 19th weekend working at the West Windsor Renaissance Festival, Jayden was visiting with Mom-Mom and Dadoo. What an exciting weekend they had! They took a ride to the Liberty Science Center and oh the fun and exciting things they did there! It was a 'hands' on experience for all.

They blew bubbles with the bubble maker.

They climbed on the scaffling from the Twin Towers fallen from 9/11.

They danced on the magical dancing floor.

They used strange new devices.

Mother's Day 2011

Mommy loves Mother's Day! It's the one tradition of going to the playground and Mommy joining in on the fun...climbing on the equipment...sliding down the slide...and climbing up the walls! Daddy takes the pictures while Mommy and Jayden play...

The Daisy's Take a Trip to Build A Bear

What do you suppose the Daisey's did with all the extra money they made from the Cookie Sale? They went to Build a Bear of course! Jayden's troupe did so well during this year's cookie sale that the troupe leaders surprised them with a trip to Build a Bear on May 1st!

The girls were each able to pick out an animal of their choice, help stuff it, name it, make a wish for it and even received a Girl Scout Patch for them selves and the animal! It was a fun day at Menlo Park Mall.

The girls enjoyed a pizza party afterwards in the food court. Jayden was so hungry she ate 3 slices....

Easter

How does an Easter Tradition begin? With coloring of the Easter Eggs of course!! Jayden, Mommy, Daddy, Dadoo and Mom-Mom colored the eggs on Easter Eve. The hope was that the Easter bunny would come and hide them as well as hide others with money and gifts!

We used the Pazz color tablets, crayons and markers. We had green ones, red ones, yellow ones, blue one and even purple ones.

The next morning was Easter morning! Jayden woke Mom-Mom and Mommy up first..."The Easter Bunny came, Mom-Mom...the Easter Bunny came!"

Jayden was so excited that the Easter Bunny came. She found all the eggs he hid, all 3 dozen of them! There was money is some, small gifts in others and even some had clues to find big gifts!

That Midieval Thing Spring Fling at Drew University

This year's medieval faire at Drew University was held in April. What made this year's faire special was that Jayden came with us to help! Jayden wore her velvet dress from Moresca. She also wore the butterfly wings that Mommy made.

Jayden was a great helper telling customers how to wear their garlands from Lady Jewel's Hair Garlands.

Turning 6 for Jayden

April 29th is the special day for our little girl! This year she turned 6!!

Mommy took off work for their annual date...it was play time at Fun Time America. Wow!! What a day...mommy and Jayden played games, went on rides and had lunch...after 4 hours it was time to leave for more excitement..

Jayden wanted to have a gala at Sweet & Sassy with her '3 bestest girls'. At 5pm sharp Jayden, Kaitlyn, Gracie and Faith had appointments for mini manicures, pedicures and up-do's for their hair. The 4 diva's were pampered and loving it!

It was pizza and cup cakes afterwards..
