Santa Claus is Coming To Town...Actually, He already Came

Christmas Card photo shoot came very late this year. It wasn't until the Saturday before Christmas that we were able to attempt taking pictures. We had our usual "photographer", aka Grandma, take the pictures again this year! Jayden was a bit uncooperative until we gave her the rocking horse to sit on...after that it was a piece of cake!


Christmas this year was even more exciting than last year. Although Jayden doesn't yet understand the meaning of Christmas or the symbol of Santa Claus, she did the best her little mind could. She seemed to understand the power of giving, as she was very willing and eager to hand out the gifts on Christmas Day at Grandma & Grandpa's. Without hesitation, she would pick up a present and hand it to the closest person to her. Opening up gifts herself didn't exhibit the same enthusiasm as handing out these gifts to others.

Eventually, Jayden opened her own gifts. There were so many that she didn't really know which to play with first. One that caught her attention most was the Elmo Tool Bench from Tante Tara & Uncle Bear. It comes with a tool belt and everything! The "cowboy hat" was another gift from Tante...after all, they live in Austin now!

That night, Jayden stayed with Grandma & Grandpa so that they could have more time to spend with their little angel. They ate some puffs and sat by the fire while Jayden was in her jammies.
